Just like to remind everyone to keep a days leave free in case we are lucky enough to get a bit of snow. Tonights forcast gave 4 degrees in the Midlands and east. Here is one i took a few years back but only printed recently for Peoples Photography. Fingers crossed for a bit of snow this year.
I’m actually looking forward to those very frosty, crisp, clear mornings. I’m also lucky as I live in a kinda valley on the shores of Lough Neagh and get a lot of fog/mist drifting around the shores
Thanks for comments. Shooting snow in B&W on film is easy enough. The secret is to over expose by approx two stops on an open scene such as the one above. Not sure how to handle it on digital, someone else might help out here. Lets hope we get a bit of snow to practice with.
