Hi just wanted a few opinions. I took this photo of a horse today. I justed noticed when I had it in Photoshop that It has a blue fringing around the ears . Anyone know if this is normal?. I realize at the angle I was shooting that I was pointing at a blue sky. Would value your opinion and any remedies.

    Hey Wjk,

I can’t help you with the fringing, but when you upload your shot to the web, right click on the image and click properties to get the URL.
To post your image you would have to do the following:

    Hope this helps

Thanks Ali, I understand the properties bit and geting the address, I take it thats the top one (address not location) but I dont understand the extra bits of code you have added how do I get that bit? Sorry to seem a bit thick!

I wonder if the blue fringing is just the sky showing through an is nothing to worry about?

    Many thanks john

John i’ve edited your post. If you click on the edit button to the top right of your first post on this thread you will see the section of code that displays your picture.

Ali thanks for a very quick reply. I’m sorry but I just dont get this yet. I have clicked the edit button and see the code as you have siad. But now I dont see any image in the post. Is there a step by step instruction for doing this on the forum. I am usually very good at working out these things.

    John.

Here you go (I hope) .. When you look at the image on Postimage – right click on it for the URL location then, copy the url and just place it in the img tags as Ali suggested

And don’t worry – we all struggle with these things

    ;)

Hi Lorraine All I see is a small box with a red X. Is this a server problem do you think.

    Thanks for the reply

The problem lies with the URL. I originally thought the URL was static, however, every instance of the URL is different.
i.e. The URLs contain different “keys”

Unfortunately John you’ll probably have to stick to your original method of posting or host your picture elsewhere.
