    I think open landscapes like this one are difficult to take. You have done well with this one, it’s a nice one and the horizon seems to go on forever. Good cloud detail as well. The strong lighting on the left with some nice shadows helps draw the eye to the valley. The shadow on bottom right is a little less helpful. It would be an nice project to photograph the same scene from the same spot in different types of lighting and seasons.

    It’s a great view, and one I must revisit (only got a chance to look in quickly once on the way back to England before I moved over here). It could use something in the foreground though, just a rock or something would do. There’s a big foreground vacuum.

    Steve:Thanks for the critique, its a place I have to revisit aswell so Im definately going to reshoot it! Ill take that into consideration!
