Love that shot Steve. Lovely atmospheric sky and elongated shadows. Can’t believe how much light there is on that telephone/electricity pole, almost looks painted on.
Rob.
stuttterMemberTaraMemberwhat a great shot steve!
love the lighting and the shadows cast off the cows are excellent!
Cheers

Not Pete the blokeParticipantlol Steve – you are human after all – the first image of yours that I don’t particularly like! There is hope for us all now??!!
I can’t pin point it, but it looks like excessive use of highlight/shadow tool? I dont care for the slanted composition and the colour balance looks a bit off?
Apart from that it’s ok :lol:SteveDParticipantThank you all for the feedback.
Brandyman – I better make the next one better then lol!! Believe it or not my camera was sitting dead level! The cows were on a hill, and the pole is about to fall over!! I was going for a surreal sort of look, so that is why the colour looks a bit strange. Thanks for the feedback!

This is level! 8)
Sorry Steve – couldn’t resist another edit! :lol:
SteveDParticipantSorry Brandyman, but I think your edits takes away any impact the original photo had! The reason I liked the original was because it was not level! Now it just looks like any other photo of cows in a field, albeit with a very red sky!
Not Pete the blokeParticipantYour original looks like any other unlevel photo of cows in a field….. :lol: :lol:
Only kidding mate! :lol:SteveDParticipantbrandyman wrote:
(It was not volunteered as an improvement to the image) – just a quick crop to show that by straightening the telegraph pole you still maintained the slope of the hill etc.
Your original looks like any other unlevel photo of cows in a field….. :lol: :lol:
Only kidding mate! :lol:But I took the image because of the wonky pole :roll:

Ah but how do we know the pole is wonky in real life? With nothing to compare against, it looks like the overall photo is unlevel.
I believe you Steve…….honestly. No really….. :roll::lol:
