Hi from Wicklow (new guy)
-
John GriffinParticipant
Hi all,
I’m new to this site, been seriously into photography for 4-5 years now and have had alot of my work published and sold a good bit too, I’m a Wildlife Ranger in the Wicklow Mountains National Park, have my camera by my side all day every day, my main interests are landscapes and wildlife. Met Mark a while back at a photography course run by Mike Brown and met up with him again last Friday at Mike Browns book launch in Cork, he told me he’d set up this site and luckily my girlfriend was there to memorise the address, there was drink taken :)
Tried loading up a landscape shot today but it kept failing, told me it was an invalid file type! It was a jpeg so i don’t know why it wouldn’t load and it was only 200k in size. Any ideas what i’m doing wrong?
Have worked with a number of wildlife photographers over the years which is basically what got me into this in the first place, helped Mike brown out in his newest book and we got the pics of the Grouse and crossbill. Willing to help out fellow photographers where ever i can.Hope to get to know ye all better in the future.
