Just wondering has anybody tried the Holga toy camera’s, i’m interested in getting one after reading some info in a mag about them.

BenWhat magazine was it in Ben? I think photography Monthly had an article recently on the Holga, and they had superb sample images to show the cameras capabilities. On EBay there seems to be plenty available new (from foreign sources), but I have no idea whether they are the real thing.

Yes it was Photography Monthly,images of cuba..Wow the guy even suggested that he uses it more than his high end fuji..which costs a couple of grand. See those on ebay so i might take the plunge as its only 20 or quid with postage..

Check out Randy over at http://www.holgamods.com/. He is the king of Holgas. Although with international shipping from the US it may jack up the price a little. (But exchange rates may temper that a little)

I seriously recommend getting one as they are lots of fun. There is nothing like the unpredictability of bad quality control.
Yeah bought this little sucker…
the other week in London for 39 pounds, collecting my first roll of Kodak 400 VC 120 which I’m looking forward to…it’s just a nice break from just doing digital where everything is so instant…NO idea as to how they’re going to turn about, but I guess that’s the fun about it…
