Does anybody have anything to say about this one, does it work? Personally i like the orange and black colour contrast,
    It was taken at 1/500 f/5.6, iso200, focal length 400mm with 1.6x of a 20D
Don’t be afraid to tear it apart :)

John – I wouldn’t dream of tearing it apart! I do like it, but maybe there is just too much black & orange? Maybe try a letterbox crop or something?

    Nice shot John.

I like the colors, but the deers look a bit small.

Did you shot them in Ireland?
I’d like to meet people to learn how to approach those.
My shots were done in a place where the farm them. You can shoot them at food time, and then they vanish in a really huge field…

Thanks for the C&C, i have taken thousands of pics of deer in Wicklow, i have a slightly unfair advantage though, I’m also a Wildlife Ranger and professional Deer Hunter, I have considered Cropping it letterbox style but it just makes the framing that bit more complicated, It looks great in the style of black frame i’m using at the moment and i’ve sold a few of them, mostly to deer hunters for whom this image is a familar sight that they get a bit romantic about.
