World toy camera day 21st October 2006

Took this image to celebrate World Toy Camera Day 2006. Stuck a cable release on a Holga with glue and gave this two seconds on Ilford FP4.
Absolutely gorgeous Eddie. I love the softness of the FP4. Gorgeous tones.

As a result of the toy camera photos on here, I’m getting together some developing
equipment at the moment so I can start putting my Ilford Super Sporti to some good use.Lets see more Eddie :D

Absolutelly fantastic result, it’s the best example of what can be obtained with a Holga!
I know nothing about Holgas or FP4, but what I do know is how much I like the shot. Very nice toning.. the softness works really well too. Great shot all round, toy camera or not.

Thanks everyone for comments, This is a nice spot .The location is Cloghleagh Bridge just outside Blessington. Its especially nice at the moment as there are lots of leaves about. Its quite shaded by trees but in the next few weeks when all the leaves have fallen it will be more open. Its worth a visit but be careful as its very slippy and needless to say bring a tripod. Will work well in colour.
