This is my attempt at a photograph being abstract and having a meaning too….. gulp!!
No photoshop other than resizing.
Let me know what you think, good or bad.
looks mad, in a good way.would make a good advertising image with the way it jumps out. could make you dizy if you stared at it too ling though. looks like sweets or marbles. what is it??
Flippin ‘eck carl that’s mad alright! 8) It’s woken me up, that’s for sure. I’d say it’s your CRT monitor. Great idea, nice one. Nicely aligned if you didn’t potatoshop it.

Yup, it is a crt. Alignment was a pure fluke as it was hand-held :oops: . Thanks for the comments.

I opened a new document in a text editor on the pc and stuck the letter “i” in the middle with loads of space around it.
Canon 350D with 50mm f1.4 and a couple of extention tubes and focussed on the “i” at close distance and shoot.
Then I just cropped and adjusted brightness in the raw converter and voila!Amazing what you see sometimes when you look up close! :D

Very abstract.. superb idea, I’d never have spotted it or thought about it in a MILLION years. I still feel ill though

The picture seems to have a life of its own…..
i think it would make lovely wallpaper or carpet maybe. Shirts, trousers… the possiblities are endless.
