I finally got my new sony DSLR and took this Picture of my Cat.
C&C as usual always welcome and appreciated.
That is a seriously spooky cat … !!The close up is a great idea but what happened to the eyes ….did you use flash

pretty close alright…. Seems to be nice and clear. Getting used to the new camera yet!?!
Hope the poor kitty’s eyes were ok after the flash!

I am in Love with my new camera. Yes lo I did use a flash Was looking for this effect.
Oh my! I physically winced when this appeared on the screen, and I’m quite fond of cats. My wife is terrified of them and would have needed CPR if she’d seen it (maybe I’ll print it off on A3 in case she tries to make me wash up).
If you look in the right eye, you can see the sun and some clouds…
or maybe I just need more sleep…!?!

He is a bit late for halloween………..great close up I can just picture him giving you a swipe after the flash!! I have just received my Sony also, and cant wait to get started with it, I am planning on going out with it tomorrow, havent a clue what I am doing so should be interesting. Would love to hear how you are finding it, this is my first DSLR so any tips or hints would be gratefully received.

LOL Shutterbug this is my first DSLR as well. I am still experimenting with it. I Love the RAW pics though. It is great to come home download the pictures (Instant Gratifacation) and then open the program and change the shooting conditions.
But let me know how you are getting on. We need to stick together with all these (sssshhhh) Nikon and cannon photographers here. :twisted:Have just noticed your in Newtownmountkennedy………………me too small world!!
