One from today. EEEEK!!!!!!!!! it’s feckin freezin. I’m just after having a heated debate about the title with my father … oh and a crash course in farming :)
Lovely Ali. I meant to comment on some of your recent postings. I really like the style of conversion that you have developed. It seems to bring a very well balanced range of tones and depth to the photos. The tint is very pleasing to my eye anyway.
Looking at this again I think bringing the tree a smidgen more into the frame would be better. It’s just a gut feeling but the tree looks like it could escape from the frame where it is now.
You are a martyr for your art, out on a day like this :o
Thanks Danny – Trust me, i didn’t stay out too long :). Thanks for the comments. My only concern when editing initially was that if i brought the tree in more in the frame
it would take the interest away from the actual landscape. As for being a martyr for the art – i have recently invested in flowery wellies :lol: I’ll bring them with me to Glendalough.Great Shot – lovely sky.. lovey tones.. really really love the lines leading you into the shot :D

Thanks a mil Lorraine, this was taken about 3 miles from Wilkinstown in a place called castle town. I drove by that field though :| and it’s terrible. :D
Aha….. ! I thought it would make a fabulous series of the field in all seaons !..

However can I make a comment .
Can you darken the sky on the left to balance with the right because your eye is lead to this bright side. In doing so lighten the fiels on the left side also.

I love the tree, it looks like a ship in full sail moving across the scene – if you see what I mean.
