I like the lighting and composition of the first one – especially that dark sky it really makes the picture in my opinion. I do think that the 2 of them are a bit soft though – I would have preferred them to be a bit sharper.
LoGillParticipantI’m torn
I really love the composition, toning and the overall “illustrated” look to these..
But I also wish they were sharper.. Dilemma !!

dr_wolfenspielParticipantthanks,
I plan on going out to shoot these again this week. The softness is a combination of photoshop and possibly a bit of camera shake. It was really stormy when i took these and i could do with a better tripod. (but the good ones are sooo expensive  )
Im still playing around with them on photoshop doing a few different versions. Ill try one not so soft and post it.
KPMParticipantHave to agree with Lorraine on these ones.
Great subject, composition etc. but a bit too soft. Definately worth a re-shoot.
Fantastic potential for some really great images.Look forward to seeing the new shots.

ValentiaMemberdr_wolfenspielParticipantwell heres that photo as promised. Shot this today. Only got the one location. Will leave the other for another day.
The tree is sharper anyway. So what do you’s think now??
jb7ParticipantI like these three, I thought I had a favourite, but now I can’t decide-
the tone is reminiscent of an earlier time, perhaps the movement in the trees helps that-
It would be interesting to see an enlargement, it looks like there may be sharp bits among the bits that arer being blown around.
It doesn’t look as if these shot have been sharpened much; if they are, its very subtle.
Should make lovely prints-j
