It was then on Donabate Beach on saturday last a few feet away form where Kevin took his image in the post” Donabate Beach”.

Again the colours will look diferent on your monitor unless it has been calibrated.
    Comments Please.

You really caught some magic light and reflections in that image. Have to admire your hard working attitude to your photography creating all those images in one day.

    Nice shot Neil.

nearly as good as mine  !!
The reflections are great and really add to the overall “feel” of the shot.

Its amazing to see the difference a polariser, and a slightly different aspect, can make to basically the same scene.
Looking forward to seeing some of your other (enlarged) shots from the day as well.

Do you intend to convert any to B&W ?

As I said before, great variety and dedication for a full day. Nice work.

    Thanks for the comments folks.
There is no magic formula to this work. A lot of photographers think that because there were at a location once they are finished with it and never go back. Well this is the major problem. Only by going back a number of times each with a different frame of mind and light, will not be able to get the best images. I knew that with the right sky and light the shoots here could be taken. Theis is the reason why so many location could be visited in one days shoot because all the hard work was already done.

So the one piece of advice I would give to anybody is this:-

What are the two fundamental elements in all photography under your complete control ?
Where to stand and When to release the shutter ie ( position and timing )

Lovely shot Neil – foreground interesting and sharp to balance a fantastic sky. Is there a spot at the botton right intersection of thirds ?
