Came across these sleepy dudes in Mojacar in Spain, as you can see the quality is ever so slightly better then my landscape post, thanks to my Dad’s lovely shiny kodak camera :D Again messed about with the curves, think i might have made the foreground dog a bit bright, he seems to be glowing somewhat..

The minute I saw this it made me smile. Probably because it reminds me of my dog (he sleeps most of his life away). Great photo.

You’ve captured a great moment with a strong composition, I really like this!

Yea I love this… nice composition… great capture.

it’s unfortunate though that in photos like this, there is a very thin line between sleep and death. As in it’s very hard to tell which of the two is the case here, due to it’s emptiness and dark colours…. (sorry for putting a downer on that there…!)

    Hey Sancho-

Forgot to say welcome to the site-

Really like the quality of this one, and the stillness.
Nicely sharp, too and some rich detail.

I think the composition could be improved considerably by cropping the right edge to remove the pavement behind the column. And maybe a touch off the top, but now I’m being picky-

    Its only my opinion, but
I find that area top right competes with the dogs, draws me out of the picture-

    Good pic-

Gorgeous shot. Lovely silvery tones and the composition is fascinating.

I like this pic too. The dog in the foreground looks fine on my screen, lots of detail. Wonder if the upper left can be brightened a tad? There’s a lot of mid tones that could be, perhaps, a little perkier. All in all though, good job.
