Your most viewed shot….

Not sure where to really start this or if its within rules but basically I was doing a little cleaning over in my pBase galleries and I noticed that one of my images was viewed considerably more than others. In fact it has been viewed 2 times more than the second most viewed…! To be honest its an image that has won me a couple of awards and stuff and has just been published as a Christmas card for the Gary kelly Cancer Centre in Drogheda but its by far not my favourite shot. Its kinda interesting when your opinion of your favourite shot is not the same as others. Not sure if other gallery sites allow you to view hits but if they do show you top hit here for comment/adorment/critique/ridicule whatever…! Here is my No.1 on the hit count:
Its the viaduct in Drogheda. Tech details…. 20D, 17-40L, 20s, f6.1, at 26mm, 100ISO, 6:50am over 2 years back….!

jb7ParticipantYou can certainly see the attraction Richie,
a very rich image, if you don’t mind the eponymy-
Optimal timing too, considering the movement in the clouds and the rapidly dawning light.
The viaduct lends an interest too; there aren’t too many of those in this country-I posted a few on deviantArt, but gave up-
just too easy to get swallowed up whole there,
with nearly thirty million images online at the moment-This is the picture with the most views,
tho I’d be embarrassed to admit exactly how few that is-Heavily ‘shopped to rescue it-
this is a picture of my sister taken on the day before she cut off her hair for charity- and highly compressed to fit on here-again, hope its within the rules-

joolsveerParticipantFlipflipParticipantThis here is mine, tho I dont know why, id have thought it’d be somethine else.
richiehatchMemberFlipflip… its a really nice image thats why…! The light is really weird in it but it works for me.. did you use a flash…?

ValentiaMemberThis is my most viewed on Flickr. 2,439 times at the moment. I couldn’t figure out why until I used “Flickr Inspector” to search the blogs and someone has it up there (with full credit to myself and a link).
CianMcLiamParticipantCurrently its this one of Poulnabrone and the moon, cant track all time highest pic with smugmug so its usually something recent. Funny but I was dissapointed my carefully placed composition (with the dolmen off-centre) didn’t end up being captured when the shutter opened due to the remote cable tugging on the camera with me fumbling for it in the dark. Couldn’t see much else apart from the moon in the viewfinder either which didn’t help!
nolongerParticipantThis image is my most viewed. It was my first (and far and away my best) attempt at the fake-tilt-shift technique with Photoshop. Something like 4x more views than the next closest image in my Flickr stream. Also the most interesting, and most favourited as well.

To be honest, i cant remember, I took it on film so i dont have the exif data. I cant imagine I did to be honest, though it does seem like a fill in was used!
I honestly cant remmeber though! Sorry!
Thank you for the comment though!
DarrenGParticipantMy most viewed by miles (307 views compared to 10-20 views :( for most of the others)
joe_elwayParticipantAccording to the stats I keep on my website, the shot that is easilly my most viewed photo is of my cat. There’s a small story with it. My cat, Blackie, is a psycho little bugger. He’s down at my family home in north Wexford, out in the country. He kills everything he sees, or at least tries to. One day I even caught him stalking my neighbour’s sheep. He’s succesfully captured and brought back live adult pheasants. If he aint sleeping, he’s hunting. He’ll also join anyone who goes for a walk, thinking that they’re on the hunt too.
Anyway …. Last Winter, I was outside and I heard a cock pheasant in the field across from the house. I ran inside and grabbed my camera gear with the hopes of getting close to it or it coming close to me. I carefully climbed into the field and started making my approach towards the briars and long weeds where the sound was coming from. Eventually I found the pheasant was gone. Instead I found a fat black cat staring into the location where the pheasant had been. So, I had to make do:
AimeeParticipantnot my favourite by FAR, but my most viewed bt FAR
It’s had over 750 views but i think that’s something to do with a proxy server or something
JohnnyMcMillanParticipantDenverDollParticipantthis is a wonderful thread..thanks for digging it out Aimee! I hope everyone wll keep adding to it :D
