    Hi all hope you all had a lovely Christmas.

    One of my housemate from a while back.This guy is about 5mm long.
    Canon 20D, Sigma 105mm, f/20, 1/160 sec., ISO 100

    This is nice MJ. I assume it’s taken with flash? I’m a bit confused as to how you managed it, because that’s his underside, I think??

    Nice one griangraf I love the sharpness of this, while at the same time disturbed by the HUGE bloody Spider on my monitor :shock:

    Yes Pete used a ring flash on this one. The spider had built a web parallel to a pale coloured wall. The web is on a plane parallel to the wall and around 2-3cm away from it. When I went ot take the shot the spider had it’s dorsal side facing the wall and it’s ventral side facing the camera. Hopefully that makes it a bit more understandable. :?:

    Ahhh. That all makes sense now. I can see some web, but not much. I was wondering if he was on glass.
