    Beautiful shot, brents i’m guessing, would have been so much better if you could have got a bit more vegetation or some sort of foreground, love the shafts of light though.

    I really like it – I love the light … but I’d be tempted to remove the foreground altogether..

    Thanks, they were flying over tree tops and I cropped to give some semblance of a foreground….reeds or the like.
    Have to get a faster lens :wink:

    I disagree I think the two stands of fore ground really frame this pic the poor little duckies would be lost in the midle without something to frame them. I have the same lens as you only canon fit and hear you barking when you say you have get get a faster lens I dont know how you even got a shot in that low light you must have been focusing manually coos mine just hunts in low light and wont give me a focus. good job noelly

    I’m stunned :shock: I wasn’t even going to post this shot as I thought it mediocre at best!
    As for the autofocus, I locked on to the flock and followed them ’til I got a decent bground.
