Taken in the summer in a place called Victorias Way in Roundwood,
Co. Wicklow. A weird and wonderful place in the middle of nowhere.

That’s an intriguing photo, to say the least. Could go in a set with my lips, nose, chin shot.
I like the b+w, but I think you would have isolated the statue thingy better with a shallower DoF. Maybe you had no choice – I haven’t looked at your EXIF.
Panasonic FZ10 – great camera! I loved mine but sold it on ebay last year.
Interesting. Did you see any information around there about the statue? Is it of the Hindu god, Siva?

Agree with you Brandyman! I have moved on to a Sony Alpha
now but am loathe to give up the Panasonic!No info on that particular statue Positron, but there are loads of
other statues all of Indian origin, one of them is carved from a single
piece of black granite and weighs something like 40 ton!!Shutterbug

Certainly looks like all the pictures of Siva that I’ve seen.
