  Welcome back Smitty. Hope you enjoyed your journey Down Under.

  What a quirky image! You can’t help but notice the little Christmas tree and tinsel on the ground either
  side of the kangaroo, and I can’t help but think that had you entered this image in our ‘Festive Season’
  competition, you might well have won on account of it being so ‘unexpected’! I really don’t know what else
  to say about it. It’s not everyday you see a kangaroo bounding across a lawn strewn with Christmas
  paraphernalia, leastways not here in Ireland. Can’t help but like its quirkiness.

  Certainly one of the more “unusual” posts lately, for sure.. :D

  Considering the start it must have given you to see this guy bounding across your path you did well to capture a shot at all.

  It’s a pity he didn’t come at you from another angle so you could have caught some of his facial features..would have made it a more interesting shot.
