In the first one the effect is of a deliberate pose, a mugshot.
In the second she is having a relationship with the camera, the photographer, the viewer, whoever.
At least that is how it appears to me.
mmmm…out on this one Johnny,kinda looks like she’s in a bubble,dont get me wrong the shot is very interesting but possibly left as original crop,although have seen some photographers shoot through objects such as keyholes,furniture,legs etc to achieve a frame from their props and surroundings..

i really like these johnny, would look good if they were plates ( and i do mean that in a good way ) could be the kind that you hang on the wall … would look nice … sorry maybe its just my kind of thing.
I particularly like the second one Johnny, but I’m with Ali on the circles. A better approach would
be an oval shape, reminiscent of a cameo brooch if you know what I mean. Even the pose would
suit that shape. Great shots both though.
