If I lived down there, I’d have my ‘chinese’…delivered too!

Maybe this could benifit from some work in Photoshop?
    C&C welcome.

    Hi Cheekychippy.

In spite of the blandness of the sky there is something really engaging about this image. I’m no Photoshop wizard but I’m sure there are plenty here who can advise you on how to warm it up a little, maybe sharpen and saturate a bit more. Personally, I really like it. Good composition and a good capture.

It certainly does have that element of spontaneity about it.

I too find it an engaging image… it’s like one of those shots that I often see while driving..when I think..damn..why didn’t I have my camera ready to catch that.

I love the idea of the site helmet as a crash helmet too….and it just seems there is an air of eccentricity about the subject.

    Nice one Cheekychiipy :D

I looked at this earlier and liked it. I’m back for a second look and I still like it. The reason I didn’t comment before was because I couldn’t decide what I liked :)

The space and the bleached colours are good. The ridiculousness of the subject is good. There’s lots to like.

On the minus side… I’d take out the aircraft trail.

The white crate thing on the side of the motorbike is actually a miniature MLRS, not a takeaway. The charges in the centre top are removed in case of accidental detonation – they would hit the driver’s elbow.

Yes, I’ve come back to this a few times too-

Its a bit of an odd one,
there are things you could do with it, but why?
It seems to work just fine as it is.

Especially now that Pete has informed me that its a tactical weapons system.

    Good one, and well taken-

Yeah there is one or two things you could do to this image, but I wouldnt. Its an honest picture and its a great subject and its well composed.

Id leave it as it is. Great shot.

    Thanks for the responses.

He’s actually riding through the site for one of China’s
    largest pending developments ‘Dongtang’ city.
The hard hat is a little premature…Shame it’s
actually an WWF protected wetlands area
of international importance!…What can you do?

Least Dishwasher’s have come down in price!(‘:)’)

Works for me. All lines lead to his spectacular motorcycle helmet :) Maybe trim a bit from the sky and clone out that streak in the sky?

I think that about sums it up for me. Makes me chuckle (whether it’s meant to be ridiculous or not!). Sorry; don’t have anything else to add!

You mean the missile trail? Looks more vertical to me than horizontal
