    I’ve tried this shot before and can appreciate how hard it is. Good effort. I think without special equipment it’s very difficult to catch this in focus.

    Well, dunno bout that.

    60mm Macro, Tripod and cable release.

    After that, I did a Bulmers and added nothing but time.

    And a bit of Phoney Shop work.

    LOL, I used the same technique and came up with this. Took hundreds of shots none really sharp enough to print. I gave up cause all I was doing was shortening the life of my camera :-)

    Never tried this myself, but keep meaning to!

    If only that top droplet was the sharp bit!!

    I have no idea what you were thinking about that frame….just….don’t go there….

    As for the shot itself….it’s just the lack of sharpiness which lets it down, I’m afraid

    I mounted this shot on canvas and hung it in my coffee shop. Looks really good with the frame on the canvas.

    Sharpness ain’t the be all and end all of a shot
