    The birds are well under exposed, hard to know what to do really, if you expose for the birds you’ll blow out the sky, maybe somewhere in between and take it in raw format and use PS to expose 2 different layers. Did you take this in raw? might be possible to put more detail in the birds if you did.

    Its a pseudo silhouette John :lol: not quite shadows and not exposed fully…..its a new genre altogether :D

    Hi Noely,
    Nice shot, can’t offer any exposure advice I’m afraid. Not sure if it’s just my laptop monitor but there seems to be a sharpening halo around most of the birds. Was it sharpened post capture and if so could the settings be reduced slightly to reduce thr halo? Like I said I could be my monitor or dodgy eyes!

    I think its a combination of the shadow/highlight filter and sharpening too….your eyes are fine :D
