Like the shot, is this one from your recent trip away or is this somewhere in ireland??
I think i would like to see slightly more to the left hand side though, it just seems a little tight that side

Steve – It was taken at the top of Table Mountain in 2005. It is actually the tearoom up there. I cropped out the left because there is a wall there which doesn’t really add to anything.

Did you have to do much PP work to get the balanced exposure?

Not much PS work at all, just a touch on the levels and a bit of saturation (+10) to bring out the yellows. Framing it took way more time than the processing! Good light beats all eh?

That says even more for your shot.
Absolute stunner of a shot Dave!! and what a location…imagine sitting sipping your warm cuppa looking out at that vista. One of those views to see before ya die kinda thing.

Thanks all, No Ali I have not tried a conversion. I’ll go and have a look at Ciaran’s tutorial sometime and give it a go.
