I’m still going through the pics I took in Sydney over Christmas. Here is one I recently had a look at I’m posting the original first then my edited version. Your C&C is welcome as always!
Maybe taken a little late in the evening. Ideally you want to aim for dusk when there is still natural colour in the sky and you get artificial lighting. This way you can capture more detail. the first one looks like it would have been a cracker…. it just looks a little dark to me.
BTW, that picture is haunted!!!! I opened it in PS and uped the exposure. The host is there to be seen. I’m going to hide under my duvet now :-(
Thanks guys I should explain that I had no tripod with me so I used a bench to set the camera on hence the wall in the way! I’m learning through this forum about the benefits of choosing the correct time of day to shoot. This type of night shot is something I enjoy trying to get right so I’ll try again but you might have to settle for O’Connell bridge next time!!
