Hi,
comments what you like about this picture are welcome, what could be improved even more welcome :-)
thanx
thomasMemberthe image is too big, Tomas
it needs resizing, 800px on the longest side , i think is the way
but the picture looks ok, its just hard to see when you have to scroll acrossRobert55MemberI think it’s a really nicely thought out photo, thomas. Only thing I might do if it were mine is (assuming you have a photo editing prgm) is burn in the clouds a little where they are washed out from the sun. Not criticizing, just a thought. I like the photograph.
RobertoMemberI like the photo.
I have only two minor thing what don’t like. The letters are too big and very technical type. The grey frame suit of the photo but I would decrease the size of the white line.PixelleMemberLovely shot, might be just me being pedantic, but I would prefer co. to be capitalised as Co. And while I’m being fussy, I find my eyes being drawn to the arc of clouds top right, I think they don’t fit with the rest of the picture.
FlipflipParticipantI really like this shot. But it needs to be smaller. Its very hard to critique a picture when you have to scroll across it.
But as I said, I really like it. Tis a deadly shot.
SteveDParticipantHi Thomas, it is a nice dramatic scene, and I think the slightly blown highlights add to the drama and make the scene feel a bit more dynamic. I think you need to sharpen the image a bit to help the viewer enjoy the fine details in the image.
tomas.tornyosMemberhi folks,
thank’s for the comments, also for that ‘pedantic’ about letters, I am realy messy in that :-)
ok, I didn’t realise that the image was that big, sorry for that, I resized it now.
I played with different levels of burning in the detail in the clouds, and for me that is the best result.
actualy I do not mind the sharpness of the picture that much. What annoys me more is that the fine color/shade transitions became stepped – just look at the detail. I think it is because of massive manipulation, and the fact that the picture was shot to 8bit jpeg, not to 12bit raw :-(
