Excellent shot. The light was fantastic this morning. What lens where you using?

Two great shots, love the first one, someone was saying
that the bushes have been cut back around the lion enclosure?
I couldnt see over, under or through them the last time I was
    there.

Aww the first is super. Really like it. I noticed from Darrens shots the lighting was excellent. Really well worth the trip. I think you should have gotten someone to
bounce a reflector off the other side of him in the second  (That’s where a lovely assistant comes in ) Excellent shots :)

    Aidan,

Great shots. Really sharp. I like the first one too and the only thing I can find to crit is that it looks like an out of focus fence in the background which you could easily blur some more in PS.

LOL! This is the second time I have heard that exact line for those two shots. A buddy of mine who’s a pro (magazine covers, etc) said that last night too.

Fabulous pair of shots Aiden. Don’t know how you managed to get these at all. I couldn’t get one decent shot of Mr.Leo through the foggy glass.

That’s experience for ya huh :D

I didn’t use the glass at all with these guys. I tried to anticipate their movements. I’d find a gap in the hedge. I extended the lens, leaned in as close as possible. I then opened the aperature (smaller number), focused, metered, refocused, composed and shot.
