Robin on log

Canon 350D F/5.6 1/13s ISO400 420mm (300mm + 1.4Ext) Small amount of USM applied.
Taken last Sat. morning. Would like opinions on photo esp. composition. I know it would be better if the robin was facing the camera and not away, out of a couple of shots, this one was where it was facing me the most. I also know it could be sharper (at least on the full sized file you can see the softness) – result of slow shutter speed I’m afraid.
God I love this, the colour are so sharp and the pose is amazing! I love Robins and think they are wonderful birds. well done – a great shot, any criticism – maybe too much log?!
Nicely done. I can’t get shots of these birds. Won’t come near the feeders and way too jumpy.
