Hi all, i’m new here – 1st impressions are very positive!
Here’s some recents photos from Limerick, i’ve been experimenting with pinhole photograhpy for a year now, these are done with a hacked pentax mx, 0.15mm hole (beer can). Focal length 16mm, neopan 1600.
There’s a pic of the camera at the bottom of this link. This is an excellent forum for pinhole (the link – not here unfortunately).
I’ve made numerous pinhole/zoneplate cameras from 35mm to 12 x 10″ sheet paper, but this is my favourite. No batteries and it can slip into my jeans pocket and it’ll work in any conditions as there’s no lens to keep clean. I develope the film at home.
These are handheld – which is a rarity in pinholes – normally the exposures are long.
Please see my zonpeplate images recently posted in macro and close up – now thats a classy pinhole. Google ‘zone plate’ to find out more.
I use lenses too but for fun, pinhole is the way to go.
