    again, some golden oldies
    (before I do new ones).

Well, she is my dear friend Ingo,
    standing on a lake.
I dont remember detail of this pic anymore, some photoshopping has been done on it.
    Camera: Canon G5

    C&C are warmly wellcome.

Interesting subject and liking the toning.

For me, the composition could be stronger, however.

If you crop so you just have the legs and skirt, I think it makes an interesting crop – just feels a little awkward the way the current shot cuts through the centre of her chest…

Just some ideas – hope they help!

I like where the shot is going but for me the crop isn’t right.
I’d personally like to see the whole person and maybe in context.

However how do you think this crop works

Before I ever critique a shot, I spent a moment or two asking myself do I like it and to be perfectly honest, in this case I don’t.

Most of all I don’t like the sepia toning, it’s a little too much of a wash across the whole tonal range and detracts from the shot in my opinion. I realise it’s added so it’s the look you were after, but for my tastes it’s a little too strong. The next thing I don’t like is the crop. I’m just left wanting to see more.

However, the thing I like most is the fact I want to see more. It’s unique and screams of creativity. Congrats on having the imagination to see this shot.. I just wish I could see more.

that picture is taken in sepia tone (those were the days I used to play with my digital camera, lucky me Im ower that part now. I wasn’t any good with those playing projects). As far as I remember I tried to do it also in b&w, but that try was really flat somehow. Well I maybe have to go all my files trough to find that b&w image again and see actually how it is.

ciaran: someday I promice to show more of her…

Funny, I thought the original was brilliant – probably depends on what the viewer finds ‘sexy’, I prefer the original version to the second as I think it shows enough and leaves the rest for viewers imagination, where as the second version is very tight, in a not-so-sexy way! Or may be its not supposed to be sexy? (In that case,) Ah well, don’t mind me though; I am no good this sort of things.
