  I always thought this pic had potential if it got the right photoshop treatment + border.

  It was taken in south of France with a point and click digital a few years ago

  Yup, I’d agree that it has potential. It needs to be a little bit sharper and a touch more contrasty. Perhaps even boost the saturation a little?

  So why not give it the right treatment before posting?

  Lots of like about the shot Noel. Great colours, nicely framed, good composition.

  I’ve had a quick mess with it to show what sort of things can be done in photoshop.
  Adjusted the levels (Image/Adjustments/Levels) slightly, in particular I brought the right hand white pointer back in a little.
  Also increased contrast just a bit (Image/Adjustments/Curves)
  Increased the saturation a bit also (Image/Adjustments/Hue-Saturation) – Saturation +15
  Lastly I sharpened the image to 100% with a radius of 2.

  Ideally you’d do all these in Layers, but you could just make a copy of the original and play around with it.

  Anyhow here’s the before and after. Not perfect but gives you an idea.

  Nice job Mark, feels much warmer.
  I didn’t realise how dull it was until you warmed it up.
  Seems clearer/more in focus also
