Fantastic seascapes Mike, I really like them both, it is quite hard to pick a favourite but mainly due to the foreground my pick would be the first one.

If you don’t mind sharing, where abouts did you take these?

    Regards,

    Rod

Thanks rod. The first one is my favourite too.I know a bit of the sky is burnt out but there’s just something subtle I like about it. That one was taken out in Skerries and the second one was taken oin the beach at Rush. Both locations are within a few miles of each other. Pm me if you’d like directions. Regards,Conor.

I am going for the second one because of a few things.
Your eye is lead to he burnt out sky. The horizon is not straight. It is straight for some of the image but then bends down on the right. You have a few dust spots on your sensor or lens. I hope you dont mind me been a bit pickie.
The second image is much better to me.

    Regards Neil

I love beautiful clouds in the evening light – therefore I pick #2
Has a real ‘summer feel’ to it.

No neil, I don’t mind at all.All feedback, positive or negative can be learned from so thanks to you,and the rest of the guys for commenting on the shots .fishjam45, the shot was taken at f16, Iso 100 for 8 seconds . Cheers Hauke , it was at dawn though and it certainly didn’t feel very summery in the freezing cold !! :-)
