Waste paper basket

Again, bored sitting at home with terrible weather outside….the things you do to pass the time.
nothing ’bout the picture,
but that wooden floor looks really nice.
I like wooden floors much, not a fan of carpets at all.I agree with Susie.
It is not abstract but more as still life. The composition is not very good and the DOF should be better. Also the end of shadow could be more visible.My only problem is that the basket is empty, a picture of an empty waste basket is really not very interesting to me, but if there was something unusual or significant in the basket then it could have been really interesting. I like the lighting and the textures, I think it’d suit a gloomy sort of narative, like a guy’s live in ruins or a break up or something.
