  Any ideas? hints tips to improve these pictures…trying to get more definition of the fossil on the rock..not sure what is fossil of also so any ideas? plant?fish? or something with scale like features???

  Try to get more depth of field, and maybe include a ruler in the picture?

  Looks like to could be a colonial coral. However, best thing as suggested is a retake with bigger depth of field, a scale bar and a number of shots from various angles
