Busker on Grafton Street. Just to prove there was more than the Bass player in that band :D
GrahamBParticipantI’m glad this guy got a look in, he was actaully very good.
I reckon you are going to get a few comments about the subject looking
away and seeming slightly uninterested in everything around him.
However given I was standing about two foot away from you I know ho hard it was
to get this guy to make eye contact. Unlike the infamous bass player this guy seemed rather
uneasy having his picture taken.
The shot itself is good, maybe a little blown at the top but given the dificult lighting on the day
you did a good job.Oh and lets see some more Nikon postings.

Of course he was Graham, he was singing a Radiohead song at the time… I look exactly like that when I sing Radiohead stuff…!!
Still working on the Nikon..but so far I’ve only really been practicing on the family..so not gonna turn PI into my personal family photo album….
But fear not..before long you’ll all be saying..No more ..No more…please!!!
GrahamBParticipantNwo it makes sense, when you put a soundtrack to the picture
it brings it all together.FlipflipParticipantPaddy Freeman I think his name is.
Good shot. I actually like it without the eye contact!
LoGillParticipantYeah.. I’d be one of those saying he doesn’t look bothered .. even though I can’t believe I’m saying it because he was great, and I rememebr him being quite animated in person !! Sorry Robbie :(
L
ExpresbroParticipantAh that’s okay Lorraine..can’t win ’em all… ..Although I still like this shot..I think it’s the light on his face… and the reflections in the guitar..and it kind of reminds me of those old shots of Dylan from concerts in the sixies. I do have a more animated shot of him..but it’s not as sharp as this one and the light wasn’t as nice. Plus I managed to isolate him more in this one (with a little help from Photoshop :D ).
Anyway ..thanks for the comments folks..as always …all …good or bad..are taken on board and stored for future reference 8)
Robbie
8)AllinthemindParticipantI like the shots and lighting (apart from the triangle of white top right). Good expression on his face.
Si
ExpresbroParticipantThanks Si…I just didn’t know what to do with that triangle..I was afraid to clone it out in case it looked really obvious..but it is kind of annoying okay.
