Scavenger Hunt!

Read this hilarious article in the NY Times —
http://travel.nytimes.com/2007/03/04/travel/04weekend.1.html?pagewanted=1&ref=travelIt was a photo scavenger hunt held last weekend — they asked people to find, and snap, typical NYC scenes:
Some of my fave categories:
*Worst bagel/cream cheese or spread combo: Blueberry bagel with olive tofu spread? You can do better (worse) than that. Either a photo of the offending sandwich or, if you don’t dare order it, separate photos of the elements qualify.
*Multiple Starbucks in one picture: Two, certainly; three is a challenge.
*Most intellectual book being read in public: O.K., or perhaps just used as a prop to attract a Ms. or Mr. Right prone to lugging around a copy of ?Gravity’s Rainbow.? If you hear someone say, ?Oh, you’re into Kierkegaard? ? whirl, point and shoot.
*Most unlikely companions: Some New York restaurants specialize in unusual wine and food pairings, but the entire city specializes in unusual people pairings. Is that fashionable babe really dating that pitiful slob? Is that silver-haired guy about three times that woman’s age? Is that a rabbi necking with a Senegalese hair stylist? (100 points for the last one.)If we did this in Ireland… what would our categories be?
Catherine

SodafarlMemberCatherine depends what part you come from
The most Hoodies/Baseball caps in one photo
Most murals on a wall (bonus spelt right)
Most election posters on one lamp post
Most flags hanging from lamp post (time of year varies)

Should seriously consider putting 10 of these together and all having a go in, say, a week, see how many people can get :-)
I like: garda, pigeon, litter, shop assistant, taxi
Would add: most car clamps (in use) in one shot – or – most free newspaper distributors in one shot; best ‘undercover’ photo of someone in a suit running; most amusing graffiti.
D.
fluffy_penguinsParticipanthow about we add…
brightest orange makeup/foundation (orange filter in photoshop NOT allowed)!
most outrageous muffin top (illustration? try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muffin_top)

Most charity workers (yellow coat or Blue t-shirt)
Muffin top works for me
