Not touched the camera in 4 or 5 months as the interest just wasnt there…Trying to get the interest back again with some garden birds, although Robins only hold my attention for so long too.
miki gParticipantjohnnypanicParticipantNikonfanParticipantThanks guys for taking the time….Just two more I snapped since.
Long tailed tit. Perhaps the perch in this is a little big for the bird as I hadn’t anticipated a visit from the long tails.

miki gParticipantBoth are lovely captures. I wouldn’t think the perch is distracting or too big in the 1st shot.

NikonfanParticipantjoe_elwayParticipantThat long-tailed tit is nearly perfect. Love the dark OOF background and the light in the eye. Pity the tail is slightly clipped, but that’s just a smidge off perfect :) The background on the robin shots is a bit highlighted for my (current) tastes, but that’s a personal taste thing. Nice and sharp.

Thanks very much Aidan for taking the time to view and leave a comment…Careless on my part not to leave more room at the bottom of the frame…Was totally not expecting 3 of these guys to land outside the window as I was on the laptop of course…panic stations and fired off a few handheld shots :)
NikonfanParticipantTaking onboard Aidans comments re background being a bit too highlighted and was trying a few different things today…probably not as sharp as the others. Thanks for looking.
