Just trying out some macro/close up shots… there was something I liked about this one out of the bunch…
Any comments or feedback?!

I like it Jay.
Love the shadows and the toning, and also the
way the DOF leads you to the sharpest point of focus –
the only weight in the bunch that isn’t marked, aside
from some small surface scratches. Perhaps if you
repaired the scratches and did a little dodging to
brighten that particular weight it might ‘pop’ a little
more.Rob.

Rob, yeah I initially removed the scratches… but then decided to put them back in cos… well I dunno I liked them I guess!?! And there’s been no other work apart from a slight rotation of about .5 of a degree and then a crop – so I was happy of how it came out and wanted to leave it unedited, if ya know what I mean ;)
