Was doing a bit of googling to find out what the story was with this plan when I found this site.

Kerry farmers are kicking up. They’re threatening to shoot the birds on sight and lodging protests in the upcoming election. They’re probably ticked off that they can’t charge them rent for flying over their land :wink:
They should have a look what the birds did for Mull in Scotland and are doing for some of the other islands up there too.
I’m obviously doing something wrong …
