Definately like the last one the most.
Well composed and very very natural.
First one is great. her expression most of all.
I must admit Im not too fond of the second. Its well taken, and technically good, and the model is relaxed and natural, but it just doesnt appeal to me personally.
GrahamBParticipantThe second one is the winner for me.
The first one is very well shot but for the models pose is a little wooden and maybe forced,
she looks slightly uncomfortable IMHO.
I really like the third shot but there seems to be too much going on, maybe its the
plant in the background.I just really like the composition in the second and the models smile is great.
Really nice shots Si

the second one is the winner for me, she looks relaxed and chilled. I really like the pose
the first one seems a little odd because the legs look a little odd almost exagerated
John GriffinParticipantPixelleMemberOnly after a second look did I realise that the model is clutching, not a chair-back, but her knee.
So now I can feel her discomfort if you know what Imean, it spoils the shot for me.RodcunhaParticipantSi,
I’m probably the worst person to comment on portraits as my experience is very limited but you have a very nice selection here, love the light on the 3rd shot, love the pose on the first and love the facial expression on the 2nd… so I guess I love them all for different reasons…
All the best,
Rod
RobMemberFor me Si it’s got to be number one here. It’s odd though –
Daggie is sitting on concrete steps, but it’s by far the most
‘comfortable’ looking pose here, as opposed to the chair
picture, which is the least. That is of course just my opinion…Rob.
AllinthemindParticipantThankyou folks, Interesting how opinion varies. The last shot was shot with some text in the bottom left hand corner in mind. I like the “French” feel about some of htis series. Thanks for you comments
Si
SANCHOMemberreally great shots, these for a catalogue? What camera are you shooting with?
elludeParticipantpaperdollParticipantThe student definetely CANNOT critique the master, so I won’t even try! As I said before though I’m a fashion fan, so I really like these also. :D

It’s funto try though, sometimes another master may even agree with the student.
AllinthemindParticipantCritique away, it’s very rare to get a picture that can’t be significantly improved :)
