too many images for a detailed critique. You’ll find that if you post a lot of
images together, most folk here are just going to pick a favourite instead of
offering any constructive criticism. So, in keeping with tradition, I’d have to
go for number one.
Oh what the hell, I’ll break with tradition and tell you why.
Despite the central composition and the fact that the background is quite
blown this image works very well. The depth of field is quite good and makes
your main subject stand out just enough, but not too much for the image to
lose context. This also stops the image from becoming too cluttered, despite
the large number of people in the frame. The slightly desatured skin tones give
a good idea of the type of day it was. If I had one criticism of this image, it would
be that the whole image needs a counterclockwise rotation, just about a degree.
Love it. The others just don’t stand out as much for me.
4 and 5 yeah, 4 catches that childhood innocence that i’m sure we all miss so much  unless of course some of you are children in which case it’s way past your bed time! five is cool, one of those really quaint little quirky shots that sums up the irishness of it all.
