terrific dof. Well caught.Rob.
GrahamBParticipantnolongerParticipantWooo… is this those same parkour lads from the day we were shooting in town? Great little shot, I love the colours and composition.

Thanks, all.
Ryan – certainly is. Although technically this is freeunning, not Parkour – they seem to get a little upset if you mix the terms up!
Tim
AliParticipantSuper Tim :) You finally got around to getting through them!! As Rob said – terrific colour and DOF.

Ah hah… I was unaware of the distinction – just looked it up. Parkour is just about speed, whereas free running is more about being artful. Basically. Interesting… free running sounds more more interesting to me :)
RodcunhaParticipantTim you managed to capture a great scene here, I really like this and the fact that I can’t see his face I think in this case adds to the overall “feeling” of the shot!
Cheers,
Rod
mgstParticipantNot Pete the blokeParticipantI like this one too, and having just seen Ali’s I would make the same comments – just a pity that he wasnt looking up in the direction of the camera.
You learn something here every day – I had never heard of ‘free running’ or ‘parkour’ before, and although I have yet to google them I can just about guess what they mean from the photos…. :lol:Postscript – Ok, have now googled the terms. Now I know that in the new Bond movie I was watching ‘free running’ for the first 10 minutes or so of the movie…..

Actually, that was more parkour than free running, as if I recall correctly it was much more about speed and not particularly about style. :)
