Few more Botswana shots – Bigger cleaner images

Hi,
A few of you may recall I posted some shots from Botswana last year. This one (and I’ll appologise now as I think I set the JPG quality way too low for the web version. I will put up a better version soon) is one I left out of that set, and it seems that I should have included it.

Nice shot. Very nice. Interesting Elephant shots are hard I reckon. Like swans, easy to get a shot but tough to make it interesting. I like this one. Tough light and nice job,
Thanks guys! I’ve got literally hundreds of Nelly shots, but they are hard to make interesting. This was about as close as I got to doing that.

Fantastic photo, pity about the degradation. Hope you have a copy saved as a TIFF somewhere.
Oh yes, it’s saved on 3 different drives :-)
As to interesting Elephants. how does this grab anyone? I was going to title it “Bully Boys”. I think I posted a different version of the same shot previously.
Another fantastic capture Merv. I’d love to see these really large though –
it’s hard to appreciate the detail that must be there at this scale.Rob.
