I can’t believe these words are coming out   …. but…. i think this might just be a bit too contrasty in the building on th left and at the top … I like the scene and the composition, and I know its about emptiness but it screams out for a cyclist or somethng to toddle on up that street.. I’m never happy :)

    Cheers Roberto :)

    Thanks Lorraine for the comment.
It is dark as the empty life…….. and contrast is around…
I try to do something different. I am not sure yet……
I put it the bike shot to the next topic.

    Roberto,

I really like this. Love the contrast and emptiness. Brick paved road looks good with the texture and leading lines.

Piece of gum on the bottom of the image might be a bit distracting, then again maybe not. I’ve not decided :)

This is one of the best i’ve seen for a while.
It fits my own personal taste perfectly so I’m am completly biased.

    Thanks Mark and Graham!
The white spots on the ground are not gums but something what could not be removed…( I tried).
I think that are not too big and leading you into the middle of the picture….

Gotta say I love this shot.

My main critique is that there is just a tiny bit too much foreground. I wouldve aimed up just the tiniest amount.

That aside, I really like it.

super picture only thing i can add is to echo what LoGill said that maybe “a cyclist or something to toddle on up that street” might make it even better. Don’t know much about street photography so i might be incorrect
