Fabulous shot Aidan, it is not often you can get eye
contact with them, love it.0ciaranParticipantjoe_elwayParticipantThanks folks.
The glass: I usually get in at opening time. That reduces the amount of dirt (usually) but sometimes there’s dew on the glass. I seek out a clean spot, shoot with a smallish DOF and press the lens hood up against the glass.
0RobMemberAs Ciaran said, stunning. What a menacing look. Absolutely
superb work as usual Aidan.Rob.

Lies… he bribes the Zoo staff to go there and clean the glass… I’ve seen them…
We actually got lucky with the tigers and the glass, just before they were fed the staff cleaned the glass… though it lasted very little as they did a big mess with the water.
0joe_elwayParticipantThat was later over with the Amurs :-) This Bengal was just after we went in. Amur shots actually didn’t come out so good.
0ExpresbroParticipantThat shot had me jumping back from the monitor Aiden!! :D
Can almost see him jumping through and having me for supper!! Super shop…menacing and sharp!!
