Plus my first post on the web…

What do ya think of these 2 shots taken on Saturday?

Any comments/criticism and ways to improve are welcome – I’m new to all this…

    Thanks

    Welcome Martin to the forum.
Very hard to say something about the photos because they are too big.
The best format is around 800 – 900 pix for the longest side.
Also the http://www.photobucket.com is better for the uploads because you can have the full photo in the post.

That is far better you will hopefully get some comments now. I think they are 2 lovely shots a bit different than the normal causeway shots but that is what makes them.
Oh and welcome to the forum hopefully you will enjoy it.

First, Welcome to he forums MartyS.

    In regards to the post:
Very nice set of “milky” images, I also love long exposures envolving water and you have here 2 very nice examples. I also like the compositions (both of them) from pulling away from the traditional wide angle shot in the causeway, the color is great and the images are very appealing to me. All in all great work.

    All the best,

    Rod

    Welcome to the forum Marty,

A lovely set. The light in the 2nd looks particularly good.

The compositions are also very good although I would tend to crop a small amount of the top and bottom of the 1st.

I really love flowing water and you’ve got two super captures here. I look forward to seeing many more.

Beautiful pictures. I clicked the big ones first and I can confirm that you’ve also captured superb detail! ;)
