I flew out of JFK at dusk once,
and Manhattan is one of the most breathtaking sights on the planet-Good capture,
and the bigger the better-
Tripod/no tripod?
Pressed to the glass?
Braced otherwise?I hope you don’t mind the slight edit,
glad I checked with you first,
but here goes-j
oops, in my haste, left out thhe sharpening step, and geometric transformations are very destructive-

love it – I was fiddling with the scroll bar to look at the crop that JB proposed .. and having seen that … just smashing stuff ! Makes me want to go back :)

Thanks everyone. I like that crop jb and the geometric contortions. . I think I would keep the slight curvature on the horizon but that’s just my preference.
No tripod.
No glass (there is a small section on top that was closed during the day, or I just missed it, but was open at night where there are unhindered by glass views.
The camera was resting on a column.I also like the curved effect, makes it seem so large that the curvature of the earth is visible. I prefer the headroom of the first also.
Holy s**t that is just fantastic, one of the best cityscapes i’ve seen in a while. Good work
