A slightly narrower DOF than I would have liked. Shooting through a fence does that to you.
This is absolutely incredible Aidan. Love it. Composition, tone, everything just superb. I’ve a feeling this shot will do well for you :)

They’re 2 of the 3 new Greys. They are commonly wrongly referred to as North American but Grey Wolf (aka Timber Wolf) is the proper term. There’s a number of types of wolf in North America. The Grey is also dispersed across the Northern Hemisphere. They’re starting to even move back into Eastern Germany and Austria from the East by themselves.
This really is a quality shot, I think the DOF is perfect on this, what would you have preferred Aidan!? :)

I would have actually preferred to shoot at F8 rather than F5.6 to get both wolves in 100% focus. The one on the left is slightly softer than the one on the right. Impossible to do with a fence in place… plus the available light wasn’t enough for this. Memo to self … bring wire cutters.
Hmmmmmm, a perfectionist is it!? But then you’re background wouldn’t have been as nice! :P
