That is seriously cool IMO. Really clever idea with the water and slow shutter speed…. have I got that right?
ExpresbroParticipantGotta agree. That looks brilliant Robert. It’s like a little mini misty valley in a cabbage leaf.
Excellent!!
DenverDollParticipantRobert, I have come back to this several times.
Now I think expresbro is right.
Might be cabbage. I was thinking romaine.
As beautiful as it is, the way it is, I just cant help wishing a little fairy or sprite would appear in the center of it! I know some people here might disagree, but for me, it just begs for a drop more of your magic.
I love your stuff!PixelleMemberThis is just gorgeous.
I was just thinking that it should really be moved to Landscape! [runs for cover!!]

 Or Nature and WildLife :)
This is stunning (as usual) Robert, 10/10 for imagination.
Noely FParticipantFlipflipParticipantRobMemberGorgeous image. Very impressive. Wish my ‘fooling around’ shots
came out like this…Rob.
Robert55MemberWow. Thank you all so much for the nice comments. I wasn’t expecting that level of appreciation. [bows in gratitude – seriously!]
“Behind the scenes” – Some of you are pretty close. It is, in-fact, lettuce. I formed a circle with a few pieces in the lid of a garbage container (it was clean – LOL) as i needed a way to contain the water. In the center I put a piece of dry ice and poured about an inch of water into the lid. The dry ice starts to “fog” immediately so I had to start shooting quickly. The camera was on a tripod and I just bracketed my shutter speed and hoped for the best. I knew the fog would blur just like water coming off a water fall, I just didn’t know how much. I ended up selecting 1/2 second as the other exposures just created too much blur.
