Something a little different for me….

Went to the forest at the weekend hoping to shoot the bluebells, but I was a week early. Decided to have a little fun with a few flower close-ups instead….

Stunning capture Steven. Great shallow depth of field and good composition with strong colours etc.
For information, where do you recommend for a good woods with bluebells?

I found it very difficult to compose & focus on this one.
I really have to admire those who specialise in this type of photography. It’s a lot harder than it looks! Something I didn’t appreciate until I tried it myself.Steven

I’d reckon anytime from this weekend onwards should be good – I’d say the most of them should be out in bloom by then.Steven

I love how the stems seem to come right out of the image because of the dof. Nicely done, Steven.

Absolute rubbish…stick to landscapes :lol: Love it, love the gradual sharpness leading to the tips of the stamen and the colour is great :wink:
